Bid Details
The Sandhill Crane Program is designed to create new Sandhill Crane roosting and foraging sites and provide habitat for other waterbirds. This program requires at least 50 acres flooded to a depth of 3-9 inches for at least eight weeks for roosting habitat, followed by a two-week gradual drawdown and at least 150 acres on harvested small grains fields that must remain unflooded until at least the sixth week and thereafter may be flooded no higher than 2 inches for the remainder of the enrollment between Nov. 6, 2023 and March 15, 2024
