The Sandhill Crane Program is designed to create new Sandhill Crane roosting and foraging sites and provide habitat for other waterbirds. This program requires participants to provide roost habitat (30 acres minimum), forage habitat (50 acres minimum), or a combination of both. Detailed field requirements are listed on birdreturns.org/program/sandhillcranes/. Habitats must be maintained for a period of at least 8 weeks between October 1, 2024 and March 15, 2025.  
Roosting Habitat

Bid Price Per Acre for this Flooded Roosting Habitat. Include all the costs required to deliver and flood this habitat. This price is separate from the bid price per acre for the foraging acreage.

Foraging Habitat
