Management Options

MANAGEMENT OPTIONS: (Fully Flooded = minimum depth of 18 inches at the outflow, no exposed mudflat)

Early Drawdown (Semi-Permanent Wetland): Wetland units must be fully flooded from April 1- July 8th. Starting July 8th, drawdown water for a minimum of 1 week until reaching ~50% mudflats (50% flooded) on or about July 15th. Landowners may remove all water on July 22nd.

Standard Drawdown (Semi-Permanent Wetland): Wetland units must be fully flooded April 1- July 15th. Starting July 15th, drawdown water until reaching ~50% mudflats (50% flooded) on August 1st. This option will receive priority selection!

Permanent Wetland (Delayed Drawdown): Wetland units must remain fully flooded April 1st- October 1st.

I understand that selection or rejection of any application is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Migratory Bird Conservation Partnership and if the Partnership selects my application, I will be provided a contract to execute setting forth the terms under which I would implement the above specified flooding on the above named acres in exchange for payment at least equal to my application. Unless the Partnership and I both execute the contract in the requested timeframe, neither I or any member of the Migratory Bird Conservation Partnership shall have any obligations regarding this application.
